"It Takes a Village to Raise a Child"

There is a continuum of beliefs by parents, students, and educators that creates synergy and maximizes learning outcomes for students. We believe that parents are children's first teachers. Parenting is one of life's greatest joys and greatest responsibilities. Parents that prepare themselves for the task of parenting develop socially and emotionally healthy children. We also believe that school teachers share this same responsibility on developing strong children. Teachers with strong skills, enhance their effectiveness when educating students in their classroom. We believe we have the tools and strategies to support parents and educators in the development of children from all backgrounds.

Since 2001 NICE's leadership has worked in urban education and showed tremendous growth both academically, culturally, and behaviorally in the schools we've served. As an organization we understand the unique challenges that come with supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students from diverse and sometimes high need backgrounds. Our leadership reflects the students that we serve from personal experience...

                         "Working Together Works"

Our team is committed to RESULTS, RESULTS, RESULTS!! NICE is obligated to working alongside our partners until they have obtained their desired outcomes. We recognize Rome wasn't built in a day but understand without building a sound foundation within our families, schools, and communities it will be very hard to grow children socially, emotionally, and academically in a way that ensures they become effective citizens, parents, and contributors to our society.
